Dr. Jared and one of his dogs, Wyatt.
Dr. Jared graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in May 1999. He graduated with honors in the top 10 percent of his class and was a member of Alpha Psi honor fraternity. He is a current member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Growing up in the Stillman Valley area, he knows his way around the Rock River Valley. His interest in small and large animals was established early, having worked for years at the Tebala Shriners Horse Stable and also working with his uncles on their dairy farms. After graduating from Northeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1993, he worked at Animal Medical Clinic doing everything from kennels to assisting the doctors and technicians. After completing his veterinary degree he worked for a short period of time at a mixed animal practice in Indiana before moving back to the Rockford region. He joined the veterinary staff of the Animal Medical Clinics in 2000 and worked between Animal Medical Clinic, CherryVale Animal Clinic and Winnebago Animal Clinic for 3 years until he became the full time Veterinarian at WAC in 2003.

Dr. Jared currently lives in the Winnebago area with his wife Jennifer and their two daughters, Madison and Avery. His small zoo includes three cats; Seka, Murphy and Fred, and two dogs; an English Bulldog, Wyatt and a Lucy, a terrier mix that has been with Dr. Jared and Jennifer since 1996.

Providing quality veterinary care for WAC clients and patients is a top priority for Dr. Williams that takes up a majority of his time. Most of the free time he has is devoted to his wife and daughters however, he loves to play tennis and raquetball whenever he can. Dr. William's interest in Bluegrass music drives his hobby of picking on his mandolin and guitar.

Dr. Jared loves the small town atmosphere that Winnebago offers and is dedicated to building relationships and providing this community's pets with outstanding veterinary care.
